Their newest store, in Armedale, features a slick contemporary design by Paphitis in conjunction with Melbourne architect Ryan Russell.

In a fantastic combination of technology, well-being, and fashion, Nike has teamed up with Amsterdam based designers, Staat, to create their new “Nike Running Club.” Featuring all things related to running including shoes, clothes, and things to keep you entertained whilst running, the “club” itself is am exercise efficient facility usage with treadmills, retail, and what appears to be sports massage tables! According to the Staat website, the club is “a space where core and active runners feel at home, with an inspiring mix of clinics, great products and events. The place to start a challenge, share the motivation and multiply the performance, for runners by runners.”

Beckmann-N’Thépé, the French architecture firm, has just won a competition to redesign the Helsinki Zoo. As the zoo is eager to house a group of polar bears, which they have not done in the last 30 years, the design appears inspired by a glacier. Though the construction is not completely confirmed, let´s hope that this projects gets off the ground!
